Since online classified ads have grown to such a mass proportion, newspaper ads have declined in sales. Newspaper classifieds are no longer the largest source of classified ads. As online classified ads continue to grow in popularity, it is projected that newspaper and periodical classifieds will continue their downward trend.

If you are looking for a certain item, all you have to do is type it into a search engine such as Google and you will more than likely have thousands of results. This is much easier and much more inexpensive than having to buy periodicals to read their classified ads. There internet proves to be more economical for buyers and sellers.
